Dual citizenship shouldn’t automatically mean double taxation

“The majority of my income is made in and taxed by the Czech Republic.”

Jan Stransky

Dear Congress,

I am a Czech-American dual citizen living in Prague, in the Czech Republic. My distance doesn't prevent me from following my beloved New York Yankees when the time difference allows, or from visiting my family in Arizona a couple times per year.

The majority of my income is made in and taxed by the Czech Republic, which is why I am against citizenship-based taxation. As a father of two and a proud American, this affection would be even greater if my earnings were not taxed twice.

I implore Congress to please enact residence-based taxation, as it would be better for my life and the lives of my family.
